The organization will continue to make real culture changes, shifting the collective mindset is where the change work begins. MITM’s mission is to creates unique fundraising events, with the motto, “Work Hard, Play Hard and Give Harder”.

These unique experiences raise funds to provide funding, support and resources to those that are less fortunate.

ABOUT MIRACLES IN THE MIDLANDS

Miracles in the Midlands initiative was founded by Denise Bradley; Veteran, Philanthropist and Actress. Denise wanted to start a program to be a service to the people in the Midlands. The program was started to provide miracles to children that are less fortunate that reside in several areas throughout the Midlands. During the Christmas season, Miracles in the Midlands (MITM) initiative partnered with Distinguished Diamonds, a 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit Organization, founded by Recording Artist and Philanthropist Sunshyne Pollard. The program was established to provide toys and Gift Cards to those that are less fortunate.  The mission was to ensure every child receives a toy, of some sort of substantial size, and teens will receive gift cards from the Gift Card Tree. Toys and gifts cards came in from various resources such as local toy drives, businesses, individuals’ contributions, monetary donations and other donations via holiday partnerships.  Denise learned that during the holidays many parents are faced with harsh realities. They must either choose to put gas in their cars – so they can get to work, or buying formulas or diapers for their child. Purchasing toys for Christmas is not a choice that many parents are going to make. Through “Stuff the Hummer” Toy Drives, over 1200 toys were collected. On 22 December, Miracles in the Midlands did the 1st Annual Toy Giveaway in the North Main community.

In January 2019, Miracles in the Midlands (MITM) moved from being an initiative to a Non-Profit Organization. MITM is now a 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit Organization and is changing the face of fundraising and community service. Our organization will continue to make real culture changes, shifting the collective mindset is where the change work begins. MITM’s mission is to creates unique fundraising events, with the motto, “Work Hard, Play Hard and Give Harder.  These unique experiences raise funds to provide funding, support and resources to those that are less fortunate. Our unique experiences are Annual Toy Drive Kickoff , Cocktails and Conversations, The Hunger Project, Vegan Dessert Tasting, Stuff the Hummer.
